Electronic Arts announces Burnout Paradise

Videogame publisher Electronic Arts has announced that they are working on the next version in the Burnout series.

Their latest gaming title in the series has been named Burnout Paradise. It would be launched for both Microsoft Xbox 360 and Sony Playstation 3 this coming winter.

The game is being developed by UK-based Criterion Games which claims that this next iteration would benefit massively from the hardware available on these new generations of gaming consoles.

EA has also released a trailer of the game which looks pretty impressive with improved graphics. The company added in a statement that ‘Burnout Paradise’ promises a truly Gen-Next game play with the most explosive pile-ups in the history of the franchise.

Executive Producer of ‘Burnout Paradise,’ Pete Hawley added: “We have been working towards ‘Burnout Paradise’ for quite some time. Next generation consoles have opened up a raft of new gameplay opportunities, and the Criterion team has leapt at the chance to innovate.”
