Call of Heroes coming to Nintendo Wii
Data Design Interactive has announced in a statement that they are going to bring the game Call of Heroes to the Nintendo Wii gaming console.
This would be perhaps the first game to be ported from the personal computer gaming platform to the Nintendo’s smash hit Wii console.
The game is currently scheduled to be launched for the PC sometime next month. The game is basically a fantasy RPG and Nintendo Wii would now become the exclusive console carrier for this game.
Data Design Interactive said that this project is going to be one of their biggest one for the near future as they basically work on casual titles.
The company is also working on a handful of other Wii games this year. They are likely to launch Elviz Rock N Roll Adventures, Ninjabreak Man, and Urban Extreme for Wii.
They are expecting to launch Call of Heroes for Wii by the end of the year.

Any RPG is good news, especially on the Wii. However, the fact that DDI is a casual PC game developer and their other games are Elviz RnR Adventures, Ninjabreak Man, and Urban Extreme really makes me wonder. Aren’t these the type of oddball titles that systems like the TG16 started releasing just to fill their library with titles as a desperate hope to cover up their lack of titles?
Sure some decent games did come out of those weird titles but without the large franchises systems like the TG16 died out quickly. I know Nintendo is trying to get out some first party titles this year such as Mario Galaxy and Metroid but even if they aren’t pushed back and release on time what do Wii gamers look forward to then? I love the Wii but Nintendo better get some more popular franchises going otherwise we will see a repeat of the GC.
Hey Nintendo, how about some online multiplayer already!
