Sega announces Condemned 2: Bloodshot

Videogame developers Sega has announced that they are developing the sequel to their “Condemned: Criminal Origins” named “Condemned 2: Bloodshot”.

They plan to launch this game in the market by next year. This game is being developed by Monolith Productions and would be shipped for the Sony Playstation 3 and Microsoft Xbox 360 gaming consoles.

The company added that they expect this game to land in the market with an M rating (mature audiences only). Scott A. Steinberg, the Vice President of Marketing for Sega of America spoke about this game: “Condemned 2: Bloodshot will keep gamers on the edge of their seats. Experience all the tension, psychological terror, and a variety of first-person, hand-to-hand fighting mechanics in this innovative atmospheric thriller gamers have been longing for.”

The gamers would be assuming the identity of the game’s central character; Ethan Thomas and they would use a combination of forensic tools and brute force to solve the game’s mysteries.

TeamXbox reviewer Brent Soboleski wrote about this game after watching a trailer: “The gameplay will once again focus heavily on violent melee combat as Ethan uses everything from his own two fists, to pipes and whatever else he might find in the environment to once again beat his way through an onslaught of less than savory characters.”
