Midway Games and John Woo collaborates for Stranglehold

Video game maker Midway Games has announced that they are going to release a special edition action game in collaboration with action film director John Woo.

This game would be for the Sony Playstation 3 gaming console and would feature a high-definition copy of one of Woo’s movies Hard Boiled.

The company said that the collectors edition of their Stranglehold game would take the advantage of higher storage capacity of the Sony’s Blu-ray technology to store more data on the same game disc.

The game would come with Woo’s 1992 classic film Hard Boiled which starred Chow Yun-Fat as a Hong Kong detective.

Stranglehold was developed to be the sequel of the previously launched game Hard Boiled and John Woo had been involved in the storyline and reviewing progress of the game’s creation.
