Manhunt 2 launch suspended

Take-Two Interactive Software has now announced that they have temporarily suspending the release of their latest gaming title Manhunt 2.

The company is facing issues with the game as it has already been banned in Britain and Ireland.

In the US market, the game is likely to get an Adult Only rating which would make it impossible for them to sell the game through popular retail stores.

Take-Two said that they are currently reviewing their options but are fully supportive of the game.

They added: “We believe in freedom of creative expression, as well as responsible marketing, both of which are essential to our business of making great entertainment.”

Manhunt 2 was scheduled for a launch on July 10 in the United States. Incidentally, the company also faces issues with both Sony and Nintendo as they have rejected the idea of allowing the game on their platform if it is rated AO.
