XFX introduces “8600 Fatal1ty” and “8800 Ultra”
XFX has announced the launch of two of their latest graphic cards “8600 Fatal1ty” and “8800 Ultra”.
Of this, “8600 Fatal1ty” is the second card from the company after their partnership with Fatal1ty which is a well known graphic card maker in the world. These new cards were launched at the Computex Taipei show.
Johnathan ‘Fatal1ty’ Wendel spoke on these new releases: “This is another great graphics card that the Fatal1ty brand can be proud of. The initial card from XFX became wildly popular due to its unique cooling technology, and this card utilizes the same feature.”
The company said that the newly launched “8600 Fatal1ty” comes loaded with ‘Silent But Deadly’ (SBD) cooling technology. It also features a new video processor that can offload almost all of the Blu-Ray and HD DVD movie playback from the CPU.
The other card is the “8800 Ultra” which is a HDTV-, SLI-, and HDCP-ready product and is capable of enhanced TV-out functionality. It comes loaded with 768MB of DDR3 power.
