GameDaily BIZ: Playstation 3 USD 100 price cut!
GameDaily BIZ is reporting that they have received confirmed news that Sony is set to cut the price of their Playstation 3 gaming console in the US market.
The company is likely to cut the price of the PS3 console by USD 100. This means that the Playstation 3 could now cost around USD 499 in the USA.
Sony had recently stated that they were considering cutting the price of the console to boost the sales in the US market.
The rumors became strong in the market after a couple of blogs spotted online ads from Circuit City highlighting the USD 499 PS3.
GameDaily BIZ says that they have received confirmed information that the price cut is indeed retail-wide and it’s scheduled to take place on July 12.
Sony is yet to comment or confirm this news.
