Sega to launch games based on animated TV series Bleach

Videogame developers Sega has announced that they would be bringing out two games based on the animated TV series “Bleach”.

These games are set to be launched in Europe this year. Sega announced that these two games would be “Bleach: Shattered Blade” for the Nintendo Wii and “Bleach: The Blade of Fate” for the Nintendo DS handheld system.

Rob Lightner, vice president business development at Sega of America added in a statement that they hope that the game would also appeal to gamers who have not seen the series on television.

He said: “A gamer can learn about the characters in the series by playing the game, and if they are already familiar with the ‘Bleach’ TV series it will make the game-play experience even richer.”

He further added: “We also have games in the works based on licensed characters from Marvel such as Iron Man, the Incredible Hulk, Thor and Captain America. All of these games will benefit from huge fan bases that love the characters they have followed for years, and are now eager to take control and drive the experience personally.”
