How does a multi billion dollar company justify taking advantage of the little guys in the world?! Not a very good way to gain customer loyalty - very disappointing! Xboxs scratch the discs and Microsoft offers a replacement program for $20. I'm sure Microsoft knew that their systems could do this hence why they created the replacement program. And volla, a defect in the consoles turns into a pure profit generating system. At the very most it costs Microsoft $5 to replace a disc, probably closer to $1 or even less. How convenient.
