Microsoft believes early launch massive advantage for Xbox 360
Both Sony and Microsoft have released the specifications of their next generation gaming console. While Microsoft would be launching their Xbox 360 sometime by the end of the year, Sony would be launching their PlayStation 3 only next year. The critics however believe Sony has the hardware to become to next generation’s favorite gaming console.
However, Microsoft thinks otherwise. They launched their gaming console before the E3 Expo to gather the attention and would have the advantage of getting the console out in the market before the competition. Sony on the other hand waited until the Expo and released details in a press conference. Sony however had the advantage of displaying some extremely good products with the demonstration of a particular interesting game called KillZone.
Microsoft claims that the response to their gaming console has been tremendous and they would have the early bird advantage in the industry where even a few days difference means a lot to the end consumer. They claim that Sony is focusing a lot on the hardware part when the importance should be given to the software and services.
They would be launching their Xbox 360 before the end of the holiday season at the end of the year. This is the time where gaming consoles sell at their best with parents picking up consoles for their kids. Sony however would have to make extra efforts now that they would be second one out of the block.

industry analyst and , or any persons getting paid to devulge the inner workings of the game scene are obligated to speak the truth. the killzone game you mentioned was not a real ingame video. sony needs to provide actual video in thier demo. ms may have had less graphical games, but they were not movies, and they were on g5 powermacs not the 360 hardware. you guys care so much to mention sony’s great video. not real game footage. but you care less to mention gears of war looked as good as any video from sony, and it was all ingame, for 360. its just everyone seems to have bitten the hype bug. this author sounds the same.

Being a huge Xbox fan, dedidicated also, i was shocked to hear that the majority of Japan would vote in favour twoards the Playstation 3. Can somebody please enlighten me and tell me why this is so?
