Halo 3 gets more than 1 million pre-orders already

Microsoft’s upcoming videogame title Halo 3 is all set to create new records for sales. The game has already seen more than 1 million pre-orders as per the statement released by the company.

With this, it has now become the fastest-selling pre-ordered video game in history.

Halo 3 is currently scheduled to launch on Sept. 25, 2007 and it is the latest release in the franchise which is hugely popular around the world.

It is being developed for the Xbox 360 and Vista by Bungie Studios and it features Master Chief who is out to protect Earth from the ravages of a xenophobic alien attacker named Covenant.

Microsoft is offering the game in three separate editions: The Standard Edition, Limited Edition and Legendary Edition. And they are working with several partners to make sure that the launch catches everyone’s eyes in the market.
