Xbox 360 prices to be reduced in Europe

Microsoft has announced that they are now going to cut the prices of their Xbox 360 gaming console in the European market as well. They recently announced a price cut for the US market.

The company said that they are going to slash the price of its Xbox 360 video game console in Europe by 50 Euros.

Xbox 360 console with the 20 GB hard disk model would now cost 350 Euros in Europe. The Xbox 360 Elite edition with 120 GB hard disk would cost 450 Euros.

Microsoft faces competition from rival gaming console makers Nintendo and Sony as the holiday season is arriving in the next couple of months.

With Halo 3 for Xbox 360 scheduled for launch, this price cut is expected to gain Microsoft a lot of new customers.
