Sony PSP would soon work as a satellite navigation device
Sony has announced a new attachment for their Playstation Portable gaming device which would let it work as a satellite navigation instrument.
This new accessory for the PSP would be made available in the retail market early next year. Market analysts said that this attachment would enable Sony to compete with dedicated navigation devices made by TomTom and Garmin Ltd.
Sony added that the device is likely to be priced between 100 and 150 Euros.
The company in addition also announced more accessories for their gaming consoles. This included an accessory for its flagship Playstation 3 which would enable it to work as a digital video recorder.
Sony also admitted that they needed to have more games for the PSP at its launch time. Sony PSP is trailing in sales when compared to the sales of Nintendo DS.
