Microsoft’s Halo 3 videogame title goes gold

Microsoft has now confirmed that the much awaited Halo 3 videogame title has now gone gold.

It means that the game development is now complete and it is ready for production. Microsoft is scheduled to launch the game on September 25.

The game has already sold millions of pre-ordered copies which has created a record of sort.

Halo 3 is one of the most anticipated gaming titles of this year and can turn around the tables for Xbox 360 which is facing massive competition from Nintendo Wii and Sony Playstation 3.

Harold Ryan, Studio Head at Bungie Studios had this to say about the confirmed news: “This is a huge milestone for us and a big cause for celebration at Bungie and Microsoft Game Studios. This is the game we’ve always wanted to make and certainly the best game our studio has developed. We can’t wait for gamers to get their hands on it on Sept. 25.”
