Electronic Arts announces Need for Speed ProStreet

Electronic Arts has announced the launch date of the latest title in the hugely successful racing game series Need for Speed.

The latest title in this series has been named Need for Speed ProStreet. This game would hit stores in North America on October 31.

European launch would take place a day later on November 1.

The company said that the gamers would have to build the ultimate battle machine to take it to the multi-disciplinary showdowns. They would then be able to compete with the world’s best street racers.

EA Executive Producer, Larry LaPierre added in a statement: “The Need for Speed franchise has always been on the cutting edge of car culture. Street racing is getting more organized and Need for Speed ProStreet is our interpretation of where we anticipate the culture to be in three to five years. We’re delivering on the ultimate proving ground, bringing you out of your neighborhood back alleys and on to the world stage. This is a next-gen game, packed with the raw intensity and visceral aggression that defines street racing at the highest level.”
