Square Enix to release Infinite Undiscovery on the Microsoft Xbox 360
Square Enix Co. has announced that they are finally developing a game for the Xbox 360 platform.
This new gaming title has been named Infinite Undiscovery. Incidentally, they are the only major game developer based in Japan to have not supported this platform till now.
This is a major victory for Microsoft as they are not doing well in the Japanese market. Wii and PS3 have been dominating this market as Xbox 360 lacks games suited for this market.
Company representative Hajime Kojima had this to say on the turnaround: “We are working to ramp up the action and create a dynamic, compelling next-generation RPG.”
Microsoft also announced some more games they plan to launch in the coming months for the Xbox 360 in the Japanese market. This include Ninja Gaiden 2 which would be a bloody role-playing game. It is being published by Tecmo Ltd.
