DualShock 3 SIXAXIS Rumble controller confirmed for Sony Playstation 3
The original Sony Playstation 3 controller lacked the much loved rumble feature. The company has now announced that they would soon be bringing rumble back to the controller.
Sony announced the SIXAXIS rumble controller for the PS3 along with the announcement that the Home virtual world system for the PS3 has been delayed.
The company added that the rumble enabled controller would look similar to the current generation of controller.
They would be shipping the DualShock 3 in Japan this November, US and Europe in Spring 2008.
Sony further said that the controller would be supported initially by around ten titles including Metal Gear Solid 4, Uncharted, Devil May Cry 4, Toy Home, Metal Gear Online.
Older gaming titles might get support for this new controller through software downloads.
