Microsoft would replace damaged Halo 3 discs

Halo 3 is being shipped in several editions. One of these editions is a limited version which seems to have packaging problem.

Several customers have reported that loose packaging meant that the DVD got damaged in the transit.

Microsoft has now announced that they would be providing replacements for these damaged discs.

The company already runs a program providing replacement discs for certain games for a fixed fee.

But for Halo 3 gamers can ask for a replacement for free till the end of the current year.

Microsoft however did not reveal on what percentage of discs are expected to be damaged in the shipment.
