Activision acquiring racing game specialist Bizarre Creations
UK-based videogame developer Activision has announced their plans to acquire Bizarre Creations.
Bizarre Creations specializes in making racing games. Activision is itself known for their Project Gotham Racing franchise on the Microsoft Xbox platform.
As part of the deal, Bizarre Creations would now become a wholly owned subsidiary of Activision.
Activision is making this second major acquisition after they took over Guitar Hero series last year.
The two companies did not disclose the financial aspects of their deal.
