Halo 3 launch caused issues on Microsoft Xbox Live
Microsoft has admitted that gamers on the Xbox Live service did face temporary stability problems after the launch of Halo 3 game.
The company launched the Halo 3 for Xbox 360 earlier this week and it was a record breaking opening for the much awaited title.
The launch resulted in so much activity on the Xbox Live service that the servers went overloaded resulting in issues for gamers.
Microsoft said in its statement on these problems: “Xbox Live and Xbox.com experienced minor issues as a result of increased activity due to the launch of Halo 3. The issues were quickly resolved and both Xbox Live and Xbox.com are now working fine.”
Halo 3 launch sales touching an incredible $170 million on the first day itself.
