Nintendo raises their profit forecast once again!

Wii has been a phenomenal success for the Japanese videogame console maker Nintendo. The company has now raised their profit forecast for the second time.

They are still managing to sell every console being shipped to the market and it continues to face shortage in the US market.

Nintendo Wii is also comfortably outselling the Sony Playstation 3 in all the major markets.

Nintendo said in a statement that they expect their net income for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2008 to rise 58 percent to a record 275 billion yen.

Incidentally, Wii has already helped Nintendo double their market value within this year itself.

They are currently scheduled to launch “Wii Fit” exercise game at the end of the year. This would further help them keep the interest in this innovating gaming console.
