THQ posts a fiscal second-quarter net loss
Videogame company THQ has come out with their revenue report and the company has posted a fiscal second-quarter net loss.
The company suffered from lower sales just like market leaders Electronic Arts.
THQ had also recently lowered its outlook on delays of new games.
The company posted a loss of $7 million, or 11 cents per share for the quarter. This is disappointing compared to profit of $11.6 million, or 17 cents per share in the same period last year.
THQ revenues were down 5 percent at $229.3 million from $240.2 million last year.
The company however expert to post better figures in the coming months as they hope to gain from the upcoming holiday season.
