EA Chicago studio being closed down
Video game publisher Electronic Arts has announced that they are now closing down their Chicago based gaming studio.
This gaming studio worked on their “Fight Night” and “Def Jam” gaming titles.
The decision to close down this studio would affect around 146 jobs in the company.
This is part of their earlier decision to cut around 350 positions in the company. They also recently closed down a facility in Chertsey, England.
The company added that the closures would result in charges of up to $110 million. But they are also hoping to save up to $30 million a year.
