EVE Online Mac edition released
CCP Games has announced the launch of the Apple Mac edition of their EVE Online MMOG gaming title.
They are providing the interested games a 14-day free trial for download. No credit card information would be required to get this demo.
The access to this gaming service otherwise requires $14.95 per month. First month access is for $19.95.
EVE Online was till now accessible to Mac owners only through dual booting into the Windows environment.
The company worked with TransGaming to bring EVE to the Macintosh natively.
The Mac edition of Eve Online requires an Intel-based Mac running at 1.8GHz or faster, Mac OS X v10.4.9, ATI X1600 or Nvidia 7300 GT or better 3D graphics with at least 128MB VRAM, 1GB RAM, 6GB hard disk space and 56K or better Internet connection.
