Target stops selling Manhunt 2 videogame title
Bad news for the videogame developer Rockstar Games. Retailing giant Target has announced their decision to stop selling the “Manhunt 2″ video game from its stores.
The game has been pretty controversial and recent reports claimed that hackers have managed to unlock previously banned content inside the videogame.
Manhunt 2 is already rated “mature” by the Entertainment Software Rating Board. The original edition of the game without the lock was rated “adults only”.
The developers then decided to delay the launch of the game to lock some content which caused the problems with the rating agencies.
Target said in a statement: “Target strives to provide merchandise that will appeal to a wide variety of guests. We also want guests to be comfortable with the purchasing decisions they make at Target.”
