iD Software announces ID Mobile formation
Videogame developers iD Software has announced the formation of a new entity named iD Mobile.
This new company has been created by them in collaboration with Fountainhead Entertainment.
This company would focus on creating games for the Nintendo DS, Sony Playstation Portable gaming consoles.
In addition, they would also develop games for the various mobile platforms existing in the market today.
This new division would be headed by Katherine Anna Kang. She is the former director of business development at ID Software.
The company is currently working on Wolfenstein for the mobile platform along with a follow-up to Doom.
