Sony Playstation Portable updated edition a hit in Japan
Sony has revealed that their recently released updated PSP model has been a huge hit in the Japanese market.
The company has already racked up sales of 1 million units in its first two months on sale.
Nintendo DS has been the dominating handheld gaming machine in this market since quite sometime now and Sony has finally managed to provide the much needed challenge in this segment of the market.
This new updated PSP model took two weeks less to reach this milestone compared to the original edition of the device.
The new updated PSP is 33 percent lighter and 19 percent thinner. It features a slightly larger screen and is a bit cheaper compared to the original model.
