Enterbrain: Nintendo DS sales in Japan has crossed 20 million units
Enterbrain has stated that as per their surveys, Nintendo has now crossed the 20 million mark when it comes to sales of DS handheld gaming console in the Japanese market.
Nintendo launched the DS gaming console around three years back and it has been a massive success in all the markets.
The report said that the domestic sales of the DS and the DS Lite reached 20.05 million on Sunday.
This feat is impressive as it took Sony around 6 years to touch the same milestone with their Playstation 2 gaming console.
Nintendo’s other major console Wii is also a major hit around the world.
