Sony to offer auto programs for download on Playstation 3
Japanese videogame console maker Sony has said that they are now working on plans to offer automotive related programming for download on their PS3 gaming console.
The company plans to make available television series like Top Gear to users of its PlayStation 3 via the Internet.
Sony said that they would provide an online TV channel function inside their upcoming “Gran Turismo 5 Prologue” gaming title.
This functionality would enable the user to download programming from the web related to automobiles.
They have not however released the pricing scheme for these download.
