Enterbrain: Playstation 3 overtakes Wii in Japan
Japanese magazine publisher Enterbrain has stated that as per their reports Sony Playstation 3 has finally managed to outsell the Nintendo Wii in the Japanese market.
As per their survey, Sony managed to sell around 183,217 PS3s in Japan in the four weeks to November 25.
In comparison, Nintendo sold just around 159,193 Wii consoles during the same period.
Microsoft continues to play a smaller role in the market as they sold just 35,065 Xbox 360s in the Japanese market.
Sony is performing well after they announced price cuts on the Playstation 3 device. They are also launching some new exciting games for this platform.
