Nintendo to pause promotion of Wii as supplies fail to meet demand!
Nintendo is in a weird position. Wii has become a bestselling gaming console in the market and they just cannot make enough of them to meet the demand in the market.
The problem is so big that the company has decided to pull ads for its Wii console this Christmas season.
The campaign for the Wii gaming console was developed by Karmarama and they would now be promoting their DS handheld console this Christmas season.
A company representative said on this new development: “We have been running the campaign all year round, but we want to take a responsible stance this Christmas and not fuel demand.”
They might resume the advertisements promoting Wii at around New Year time.
