Jerry Bruckheimer and MTV to launch a game studio
MTV has announced that they are collaborating with award-winning television and film producer Jerry Bruckheimer to launch a gaming studio.
Bruckheimer added that he is planning to do for games what he did with his movies… he said: “It’s no different than what we did with movies. We did ‘Top Gun’ when everyone said you couldn’t do an aviation movie because they all failed. We did a pirate movie when they said pirate movies aren’t going to work.”
Bruckheimer further said: “We approach gaming the same way. We see things a little differently, that maybe other people wouldn’t see.”
MTV Networks had earlier said this year that they are putting aside over $500 million to invest on videogames. Looks like they have found the perfect man to guide them to create exciting games.
