Sony Online Entertainment not for sale
Sony Online Entertainment has formally clarified that they are not for sale and the reports of them being acquired by Zapak Digital Entertainment Ltd are not true.
Zapak Digital Entertainment Ltd is part of the huge Anil Ambani-led ADAG group and the reports in the market suggested that they were close to acquiring the company.
News media company Economic Times had stated that the deal was worth around USD 300 million.
Sony Online said in its statement: “Sony Online Entertainment is not for sale and the report that Zapak is purchasing Sony Online Entertainment is completely erroneous and false.”
