ATI Radeon 3870 X2 graphics card launched
Advanced Micro Devices has now launched the much awaited ATI Radeon 3870 X2 graphics card.
ATI Radeon 3870 X2 combines two chips earlier featured in the ATI Radeon 3870 graphic card.
As a result, the performance of the new card is theoretically doubled.
AMD added that these chips have been manufactured using the 55-nanometer process. These make them more power efficient.
The company further said that they are planning to incorporate a graphics-processing core based on the X2 in its upcoming Fusion processor.
This new graphic card has been priced at $449.
