Microsoft to launch Xbox 360 Arcade in Japan
Microsoft Xbox 360 continues to struggle in the crucial Japanese market and the company has now announced their decision to launch a cheaper variant of the console in this country.
The aim is to lure in more Japanese customers to buy this console who have been otherwise going for Nintendo Wii and Sony Playstation 3.
Microsoft said that this new variant of the Xbox 360 would be launched in the market next month and would sell for 27,800 yen (260 dollars).
This is the same Arcade Xbox 360 edition which is on sale in the US market. It comes with no hard drive attachment. Though, some preloaded games are shipped along with the console.
