Guitar Hero: Aerosmith being developed

Activision has now confirmed that they are working on Guitar Hero: Aerosmith edition.

The game would as the name suggest be based on the hugely popular rock band. It is being developed for the popular gaming consoles including Xbox 360, Playstation 2 and 3, Nintendo Wii.

The game is expected to be launched sometime in June this year. This would be the next installment in this hugely successful franchise which has proven a boon for the company finances.

The company claimed that the game would enable the gamers to play music in a special way which would have no comparison.

Dusty Welch, head of publishing for Activision/RedOctane spoke about this title: “We are extremely excited that Aerosmith chose to team up with Guitar Hero, bringing one of the world’s all-time best-selling artists together with one of the biggest video game brands, to deliver a new and unique interactive way for our customers to connect with artists and their music.
