Nintendo: WiiWare launch with good number of games

Nintendo has said that the launch of their WiiWare service would see a good variety of downloadable games available at that time.

Nintendo WiiWare is scheduled for launch this coming May and it would feature titles provided by independent developers.

Nintendo added that the WiiWare dev tools provided through the service would mean that coders would be easily able to develop games and other media for the Nintendo Wii console.

The company added that they have received a healthy response and many companies are already working on titles which would be made available on the service.
