Best Buy now selling Xbox 360 HD DVD for USD 49.99
Toshiba announced their exit from the HD DVD market sometime back.
Microsoft has just confirmed that they are stopping the manufacturing of the HD DVD drive for their Xbox 360 console.
This means that the drive is now redundant for future usage though it still would play the existing HD DVD media available in the market.
This also means that retailers are offering dirt cheap prices for this drive for the Xbox 360 console.
The Xbox 360 HD DVD drive is now available on Best Buy for just USD 49.99.
Microsoft still would be providing the customers of the drive product support and warranty services. And the customers are still entitled to get five free HD DVD movies with the drive through a special scheme.
