Take-Two: More companies interested in acquiring them

Take-Two Interactive Software has claimed in a statement that apart from Electronic Arts, more companies are interested in acquiring them.

However, the company said that they have yet not received a formal offer from anyone. EA offered a deal which was rejected by the makers of the GTA series.

The company said in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission that they have received other “informal indications of interest in a business combination.”

Take-Two had said about the EA offer that they were undervalued in that bid. They are likely to resume talks with the company after the launch of the much awaited Grand Theft Auto edition later this year.
