Resident Evil 5 for Sony Playstation 3 and Microsoft Xbox 360
Japanese publisher Capcom has confirmed that they are actively developing the latest version of their very popular videogame series Resident Evil. The Resident Evil 5 is being developed for both the upcoming next generation gaming consoles, Sony Playstation 3 and Microsoft Xbox 360. The company however has not said about a possible version for the Nintendo’s console Evolution also scheduled to be released sometime next year.
The game is expected to carry on the plot from Resident Evil 4. The game was a huge success on the GameCube and the next version is widely expected to come I kwith massively overhauled game play and graphics. Capcom originally decided to keep this game exclusively on the GameCube only, however looking at the demand and the popularity of the PlayStation 2, the company is also working on a PS2 version of the Resident Evil 4 game.
There are also reports that the company is struggling to meet the quality standards expected from today’s game from the PlayStation 2 platform and might just go ahead with the proposed version for the next generation PlayStation 3 console. Resident Evil 4 was made for GameCube; this fact magnifies the latest report, which somehow misses mentioning any of the Nintendo’s consoles in the list of platforms for the next version.
However, there is still a long time to go before these new consoles land up in the market and Capcom might change their plans to suit the demand from the market.

I think Microsoft is brilliant for grabbing at Resident Evil while they can, though it is a bit of a pity that Nintendo may not get it.
The graphics look awesome and would be perfect for the new Xbox360, however I’m not too sure about the PS3 knowing the PS2s shabby graphics.

Me parece q ustedes sacaron muy rapido el Play 3 porque no se esperaron ni 2 años desde q salio el play 2 y todos estamos locos por tener el play 3 aqui en Bolivia

u see Xbox 360 is not going to be good as ps3 for this reason is xbox 360 has problems with the system such as it can start fires if u play it for like an hour and it freezes and ps3 is going to have better gameplay and graphics and that is a fact.

for this game resident evil 5 is comin out for the ps3 and xbox 360 in 2006. do not get 360 because it freezes and the system causes fire such as if u play it for a long time it will heat up and burn up and the system is a recall so get resident evil 5 for the ps3 because ps3 is going to have beter gameplay and better graphics.

the only thing i kinda dont like about resident evil 5 is when the zombies run in the trailer that doesnt make sense the zombies should walk slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwww

i hope they put in many guns as gore violence blood and stuff make me active i put rock music on and start torturing dats my hobby lets hope it will be very big long and can have multiplayer features and other ones like freeplay were u walk around and shoot whoever u wont ps zombies do run dey are ment to even be stronger dan always cuz the t virus reanimates dead cells and as in the movie resident evil 2 they say it make you stronger and much more powerfull and agresive MENTAL
