Nokia N-Gage gaming service to support five models initially
Nokia is scheduled to launch their mobile gaming service named N-Gage. The service would initially be supported on five of their mobile handsets.
A company representative confirmed in a statement: “We are a few weeks away from commercial launchâ.
This launch is a crucial part of their initiative to expand their mobile services offerings designed to increase revenue sources.
They were originally scheduled to launch the service last year but it got delayed several times.
Nokia has already launched a mobile music store in Britain and Germany as part of their mobile services platform.
The mobile phones to be supported by this service include: N81 and N81 8GB, N95, N95 8GB and N82.
