Rockstar Games to fix the problems in GTA: San Andreas

After admitting to the fact that they had indeed included hidden sexual content in its popular game GTA: San Andreas, the developing company Rockstar Games has confirmed that they would now work on removing all such instances in the game to come out with a fixed version. The company said that they have stopped the production of the game after a ratings board ruled its sexy content meant it should be sold only to adults.

After all the controversy related to the game, the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) changed its rating of the game from mature to adults only. This happened after it was discovered that a mod popularly known as Hot Coffee unlocked certain hidden levels in the game, which were sexually explicit in nature. The company had earlier denied including any such content inside the game and claimed that the mod creators had modified the source of the game to include such hidden content.

Rockstar Games said in a statement on their website: “Rockstar Games has ceased manufacturing of the current version of the title and will begin working on a version of the game with enhanced security to prevent the Hot Coffee modifications.” They further added: “Rockstar Games will be providing adults-only labels for retailers who wish to continue to sell the current version of the title.”

The game was a huge success last year when it sold 5.1 million units. This made it to be the top selling video game in the $10bn a year United States games market. However, the new rating for the game is expected to enhance the parental monitoring of the game purchase leading to dropping sales in the market.

The company now aims to gain back the M rating for the game after the fixes.

Stop saying “hidden sexual content”! It is not sexual! All you see are two clothed people dry humping each other. You see no graphic sex. All these things can be already done by little kids playing around each other. Two clothed people dry humping each other is not sexual! Maybe that’s the obvious reason why Rockstar is denying any sexual contents!

The whole controversy over GTA goes to show that the Politicly Correct element is going strong if someone dosent want to buy it they dont have to and they certanly dont have to activate the hot coffie mod if they dont want to see the sexual content that has spawned this hype. on the other hand if someone wants to summon up a mod in a videogame there should be no grief made over it and it certinly shouldnt be recalled for those reasons america was founded on the concept of freedom both as a individual and over what one wishes to see on thier tv or computer
