god damn it america wake the #%$@ up. u sue each other over anything. the other week some australian got sued $2000 for tapn someone on the shoulder in the movies to say turn ya fone off. this is hopeless. then sum stupid old bag goes and buys her 14 year old son an adult game. someone obviosly was born with all the dum genes in the family. GET A LIFE. if i was head of rockstar games i would sue her ass for miss leading the public and causing confict. everyone should back rockstar games up. i my self have a copy of this game and think its great. shouldnt older people be more wiser as they say theyve been around for longer. well obviosly they arnt cause this women is an old dum #%$@. go rockstar games lookn forward to ur next release.

mabey they should consider the fact that she was giving her 14 year old grandson a game rated for people ages 17+ and consider her for exposing the child to excplicit content, sex or no-sex.

Tell me this can=t be true. Are the U.S.A so messed up, that common sense and law can be abused by money seeking lawyers and their clients? How can it be, that a woman, that bought a M rated game for her 14 years old grandson can make charges against Rockstar? Why hasnÂ´t someone made charges against her. She bought the wrong game and she is thus responsible for her grandson. I am asking myself. Will this damaging witchhunt against computer games ever stop?

Why an earth are all these parents so upset about this game!?!? It specifically states MATURE on the box!!!! That means that the person purhcasing and playing the game must be 17!!! I’m 32 and I got carded to buy this game. An “Adult Only” title means that someone would have to be 18 to buy the game. One years differnece! ONE YEAR! If anything this old lady should get sued for being stupid and buying it for her 14 year old grandson to begin with.

All the parents up in arms over this whole situation do have a problem. They don’t want to take any time and responsibility at all for being a parent. They want everyone else in this damn world to raise there kids for them. And before any of you over zealous parental schmucks out there start pointing fingers at me and saying I don’t understand think again, I’m a parent. And I take my job very seriously, my kid doesn’t watch anything on TV that I don’t appove of and he doesn’t play games that I don’t want him to. I pay attention to him (gasp) and what he is doing (oh my how revolutionary). Guess what, this takes up my time and it is a pain in the butt but it is MY JOB AND MY RESPONSIBILITY AS A PARENT. This is what I agreed to do when I brought him into this world. This job doesn’t belong to anyone else and I wouldn’t want anyone else to do it.

So all you parents out there that are too busy coming up with a response to this outragous remark, do the world a favor and pay attention to what the hell your kid is doing for a change and leave everyone else alone!! Everyone else that agrees with this UNITE!! If we want to have a place in this country we better speak up and do it soon. Otherwise people like this idiot grandmother are going to turn our world into a sugar coated hell!!

So, let me get this straight. She bought an M (17+) rated game for her fourteen year-old grandson. And now she's getting upset over objectionable content? The Hot Coffee content notwithstanding, wouldn't one think that a game titled "Grand Theft Auto" would perhaps include some objectionable subject matter? Yet another example of double standards in the USA. We can have barely-clothed women on TV and the silver screen (and give them recording contracts! Eww!), we can televise the most brutal aspects of war, and then turn around and condemn all those things when it's not profiting the right people, or when it's on a form of media that for some reason is still being treated as if it's made just for kids? Did I catch all that? Okay. Just making sure. Never mind the fact that here in the 21st century, the predominant gaming demographic is people aged 18-24. I'm just stupified at the lack of common sense that some of these people are exhibiting here lately. Rockstar screwed up in just locking the content instead of removing it altogether, however, it doesn't nullify the fact that the GTA series has never exactly been a Disney franchise. People, I implore you: Look at the ratings of the games you're buying for your kids. They're there for a reason. I sincerely hope that the next generation of parents doesn't trip into this pitfall of willing ignorance that our society seems to be stuck in. Please. -J.R.

What was this woman expecting when she bought a game that was rated “Mature 17+” for her grandson? Apparently, the gratuitous violence and vulgarities throughout the game didn’t bother her, but the 30 seconds of nudity (which requires a “hack” to see) did. When will stupid people stop breeding?
