Gamestar China being acquired by Disney

Walt Disney has announced that their gaming division is now acquiring china based company Gamestar.

This acquisition would help the US based entertainment giant to expand its presence in the growing Chinese videogame market.

Disney Interactive Studios would now be taking over the operations of Chinese company Gamestar.

The financial aspects of the deal have not been revealed to the media.

Gamestar has around 90 employees and they have offices located in Shanghai and Wuhan.

Disney Interactive Studios has worked with Gamestar in the past as they used to outsource development work to this Chinese company.
