Grand Theft Auto IV broke first day sales record in UK
Grand Theft Auto IV has come and it has already started breaking all sorts of sales records.
The game has now broken the first day sales records in Britain.
Entertainment Retailers Association said in a statement that as per their estimates, the game sold about 609,000 copies on Tuesday.
This managed to better the earlier record of 501,000 copies set by the previous game in this series Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
ERA Director Kim Bayley said in a statement on this achievement: “The past 24 hours have been like it’s Christmas all over again for our members. GTA IV is a phenomenon.”
