Enterbrain: PSP outselling DS in Japan
Japanese videogame magazine Enterbrain has revealed that Sony is back in the handheld gaming console market as their Playstation Portable device outsold Nintendo DS more than 2-to-1 in Japan in April.
However, Nintendo dominates the videogame console market with their Wii. Wii has been outselling Playstation 3 console by a huge margin in the Japanese market.
Latest statistics:
Sony PSP Sales: 380,867 units
Nintendo DS Sales: 169,911 units
Nintendo Wii Sales: 187,121 units
Sony Playstation 3 Sales: 37,676 units
Monster Hunter Freedom 2G was the best selling game in the month of April in the Japanese market.
