Chicago Transit Authority sued for not running GTA 4 ads

Grand Theft Auto IV trailer released

Take-Two Interactive Software has revealed that they have now sued the Chicago Transit Authority for not running ads promoting their recently launched Grand Theft Auto 4 videogame.

The company has filed this lawsuit in the Manhattan federal court. They are claiming that CTA is violating its free speech and contractual rights.

In this lawsuit, they have accused both the authority and its sales agent, Titan Outdoor.

They are asking the court to order the authority to run the ads. In addition, they are also demanding monetary damages of at least $300,000.

Take Two claims that the ads were pulled back after a Fox News affiliate criticized the advertising campaign.

I live in Chicago as well. I am a huge GTA fan but they need to get off the
CTAs back. They already have enough funding problems. They weren’t charged so
    sod off.
