Electronic Arts to concentrate on Wii for growth
Videogame publisher Electronic Arts has announced that they are going to increase their focus on the Nintendo Wii gaming platform.
The company is now going to launch games such as “Madden”, “NBA Live” and “FIFA” on the Wii platform specifically designed to use its innovative controllers.
These games would feature friendly graphics and easy controls for casual gaming fans.
The company also announced a new brand Freestyle for its new series of games. Facebreaker would be the first game to be launched under this new brand.
Peter Moore, head of EA Sports spoke about these new initiatives: “We can’t be blind to the fact that different consumers are coming into games now and shame on us if we can’t evolve and develop something for that crowd.”
