Activision post impressive revenue figures
Videogame publisher Activision gained from impressive sales of their titles like “Guitar Hero III” and “Call of Duty 4″ as they posted impressive revenue figures.
The company posted earnings of $44.2 million in the first three months of the year. This is much better than losses of $14.4 million in the same period last year.
Activision said that this quarter was their most profitable quarter outside the holiday season.
The revenues were up at $602.5 million from $312.5 million in the same period last year.
Incidentally, the company had no releases during the period which makes these figures even more impressive.
