Microsoft Xbox 360 has sold 10 million units in USA

Microsoft has now revealed that they have sold more than 10 million units of their Xbox 360 gaming console in the US market.

They had sold 9.9 million units as of the end of March and touch the milestone last month.

They have managed to reach this milestone in the US market ahead of the competition Nintendo Wii and Sony Playstation 3.

However, they had the early bird advantage as the Xbox 360 was launched around one year before the competing consoles.

The company added that on the global level they have sold around 19 million units. Around 12 million of them are Xbox Live users.
